"Enter through the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and spacious and broad is the way, that leads away to destruction, and many are those who are entering through it. But the gate is narrow (contracted by pressure) and the way is straitened and compressed that leads away to life and few are those who find it." (Matthew 7:13-14 KJ amplified)
God loves you and Jesus died for us on that cross on Calvary so that we would receive eternal life! There are no shortcuts to get to Heaven. The marketplace (the world) is flooded with scams and easy, quick fixes for a successful life that can be practiced in your spare time and for a market price. Salvation is a free gift through the person of Jesus Christ. We can not buy it on line or at your local grocery store. So please don't fall for the ookie-doke, "Jesus is the way, the truth and the life: no man comes unto the Father, but by me." (John 14:6)
Jesus Christ loves us more than we can imagine and his affection is deeper than we can fathom. When we accept the love that flows from the heart of God and know that there is nothing we have done to earn it, or even deserve, then we can be transformed. God loved us first and had us in mind before the foundation of this world and in the womb of our mothers. He knows who we really are, not the person we pretend to be, but who we really are, and he still loves us.
Take a minute or two to think about yourself (the good, bad and the ugly). Ask God to open your heart to receive and embrace his love and then you will feel differently about yourself and your world. When you open your heart to God's love then you feel compelled and drawn to him, you have more compassion and there is an overflow of acceptance of His love. Now begin to count your blessing!
Beloved, make that important decision with a true heart today. Jesus Christ is ready to receive us just as we are and through his word we will change by the power of his Holy Spirit! So if you truly believe and trust this in your heart, that receiving Jesus Christ alone as your Savior, declaring Jesus Christ is Lord and that you can be saved from judgment and spend eternity with God in Heaven, pray this prayer of salvation right now.
Don't wait until later or tomorrow. Tomorrow is not promised! Just ask yourself, "If I die today, where am I going? Am I Going to spend it in eternity with God or eternal damnation?"
Father God in Heaven,
You loved the world so much, you gave your only begotten Son Jesus Christ to die for our sins so that whoever believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life. I believe and confess with my mouth that Jesus Christ is your Son, the Savior of the world. I believe Jesus died on the cross for me and bore all of my sins. I believe in my heart that you resurrected Jesus from the dead, that He lives and is seated at the right hand of the throne of life eternal and hears my prayers. I humbly ask that you forgive my sins. I confess Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior and He reigns in my heart from this day forward. Please send your Holy Spirit, The Comforter, Counselor, Helper, my Advocate, Intercessor and Strengthener to help me obey you and to do your will for the rest of my life. According to your word, I am saved and will spend eternity with You. Thank you Father, I am so grateful. In Jesus Christ Name I pray, Amen.
The Prayer of Salvation – You prayed it; Now what?
If you have prayed this prayer of salvation with a true conviction in your heart, you are now a follower of Jesus Christ. This is a fact, whether or not you feel any different. Religious systems may have led you to believe that you should feel something – a warm glow, a tingle, or some mystical experience. The fact is, you may, or may not. What matters is the Bible tells us that your eternal salvation is secure!
Welcome to the Family of God. We encourage you to get baptized and grow in the knowledge of God through the teaching of His Word, The Bible and pray about finding a Bible teaching church that will help you live the uncompromised word of God.
"I acknowledge my sin to You, and my iniquity I have not hidden. I said, I will confess my transgressions to the Lord, and you forgave the iniquity of my sin"
